Clean and clear water and a pleasant environment

The sewage treatment plant is a facility that collects and purifies various pollutants such as domestic sewage, night soil, and factory sewage generated in a civilized society to maintain the waters of the surrounding rivers, which have been the foundations of our lives.
After the start of the sewage project in Gumi City in 1996, sewerage management was transferred to Gumi Infrastructure Corporation in 2002.

The sewage treatment business has been expanded along with the regional development of Gumi City (Complex 4, Shandong, expansion complex, etc.), while complying with the legal discharge water quality requirements without any special incidents since the operation of the initial rainwater facility, buffer storage facility, and pumping station linked to the sewage treatment facility.

In order to prevent the inflow of unknown water, such as rainwater and wastewater, we continuously inspect and maintain pipelines, and manage water quality stably through process monitoring and remote control through the integrated sewage management system.
In addition, we reduce the outflow of odors by addressing the odor-generating process in sewage treatment facilities and relay pumping stations, emphasize the necessity of sewage treatment plants to residents through periodic environmental campaigns, and promote the correct discharge of domestic sewage, positioning the plant as a facility supported by the public.
