Gupo Lifetime Sports Park, the base of city sports
The Gupo Lifetime Sports Park was completed in 2015 to allow local residents to enjoy a variety of sports in the city. Since the sports facilities have been concentrated in the Gangseo area of Gumi-si, multi-purpose facilities such as soccer fields, futsal courts, and tennis courts have been built in the Gangdong area to enhance convenience for residents.
The Gupo Lifetime Sports Park was limited to daytime use only. However, thanks to the installation of night lighting and the construction of two indoor tennis courts, early morning and nighttime operations have been possible since 2020.
