The Olympic Memorial Citizens' Center promotes sports for all and leads leisure activities in Gumi.

The Olympic Memorial Citizens' Center was built to mark the successful hosting of the 24th Seoul Olympic Games and to expand the base of sports, with one offered in each city and province. In Gyeongsangbuk-do, it was built in Wonpyeong-dong, Gumi, with two stories built below the ground and three stories above.

It has various spaces for daily sports programs and events such as swimming, fitness, yoga, and aerobics, and offers a small theater; it is leading the expansion of a lifetime sports base and promoting the good use of leisure time by the public.
