A place where the whole family can enjoy horseback riding

The Gumi Equestrian Field is a public equestrian field equipped with horseback riding courses and joint training facilities, and aims to encourage citizens to engage in leisure sports activities by offering the opportunity to ride horseback at a low cost. Its location was selected in 2007 and the construction project was confirmed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in 2008. The indoor and outdoor courses and clubhouse were completed on January 3, 2011 with an investment of 8.75 billion won; the game room (headquarters) was established in 2012, and additional horse houses (96 stables on 1,349 m²) for equestrian competitions were built in 2015 with an investment of 1 billion won.

The Gumi Equestrian Field aims to be a healthy hobby, leisure, and culture facility and provide venues for sports competitions and workshops, as well as regular programs of horseback riding lessons and experiences. It holds various events on Children's Day and Customer's Day, so that not only professional equestrians but the whole family can enjoy horseback riding.
